MyRepublic is the first fibre broadband-only internet provider in NZ. Their plans are all unlimited and come with a customised level of service, which are available to homes in Whangarei and Invercargill. All this with no lagging and no limits – with MyRepublic, there’s no holding back!

2degrees

2degrees Mobile is among the biggest full-service telecommunication providers in New Zealand. They deliver their services to 97% of the places Kiwis live and work. They first launched their services in 2009, and have been significantly lowering the cost for broadband and mobile for Kiwis ever since then. In March 2015, they also acquired the title of NZ's fourth-largest internet provider, and now offer broadband services as well as mobile to Kiwis across the country.

Flip

Flip is one of the newer breeds of broadband providers in NZ. They like to keep their broadband plans as simple as possible. This is why their plans are simply named ‘Fast Broadband’ and ‘Very Fast Broadband’. While they don't have ultra fast fibre broadband yet, their broadband plans offer different data limits and variable speeds.

As they don’t offer fibre yet, Flip offers copper connections (ADSL and VDSL). This means that they can focus on improving these connections to provide the fastest and most reliable copper internet speeds in New Zealand.

Slingshot

Since launching in 1996, Slingshot has been on a constant mission to challenge the telecommunications industry. They have a range of different broadband plans available, including fibre, ADSL, and VDSL. Some of their broadband plans also include a home phone line, and you can bundle your plan together with their mobile and power offerings too.

Spark

Spark is one of the biggest internet providers in New Zealand. They have a wide range of broadband plans to fit every customer’s needs including ultrafast fibre, VDSL, and ADSL - all of which come with different data limits and speeds. They also offer promo codes or discounts for new customers! You also have the choice to bundle prepaid options with Spotify Premium, so that you can be billed all in one statement.

Aside from broadband plans, they also offer BYO Spark Modem packages and the option to add a landline in your plan. Their customer service is available 24/7 for any broadband problems, questions or concerns that you may encounter.

Vodafone

Vodafone is one of the biggest broadband providers in New Zealand. They have a wide selection of plans that range from ultrafast fibre to copper connections – like ADSL and VDSL – all with varying speeds and data caps.

They are well-known for being a fast internet provider; you can trust their speeds to be as fast as 200Mbps (depending on the area). As a telecommunications giant, they have the infrastructure to boost their connections to be faster and more reliable. Although they’re one of the pioneers in the business, they still do their best to come up with new ways to improve online connections for Kiwis.

Some other internet providers purposely try to sell you bundled packages, but they believe that broadband is better naked and unlimited – just as it should be. They also have great deals such as free months of broadband, free router, and more!

This gives you the option to either charge your service to your supply account or to pay Farmside directly. All of their plans are backed by a customer service team based in Timaru, which gives them a better understanding of the struggles you may encounter with your rural broadband.
