Slingshot NZ Power Plans

Low User

The Low User plan is suitable if your household of one or two persons consumes less than 8,000kWh per year. A Low User plan is excellent if your monthly power is less than $200, or if your home is well-insulated and energy-efficient.

Standard User

If you have more than two people in your household and use more than 8,000 kWh per year, the Standard User plan is the best option for you. It has a higher daily rate than a Low User, but the price per energy unit is cheaper.

Slingshot power prices

Electricity bills are charged by Slingshot in two ways: a fixed daily price and a variable consumption charge. The fixed daily charge is calculated by multiplying the set rate by the number of days in the billing cycle, represented in cents per day. The variable usage charge is computed by multiplying the electricity used for the period by the number of kilowatt hours consumed.
